Walles & walles is one of my favorite interior designer. They manage to create a classic, elegant and yet very comfy look for all their clients. I love the table, which is their own design and if my current living room was wide enough I would buy it promptly! Only question would be wood or stone...
I so want a new project and have so many ideas on what and how to do. I'm currently thinking a smallish project such as redoing a studio apartment to a small one bedroom. On the Stockholm market properties waiting for this transformation is in the abundance so just need to snap one up! Below is one that has already been completed and it's just so cute! Perfect little mini-pad!
I am so, so ready for a new project! I just
have so many ideas that I want/ need to try, new materials, new looks, new
trends… I haven’t decided yet but I leaning toward an apartment not a house. I’m thinking smaller, but also the potential
of doing a few more than just one and potentially having more than just one on
the go at the same time. Even considering doing it more “professional” i.e.
maybe not even move in, but just renovate, then fluff with the most up to date
trend, stage and straight back on the market. I’m not sure how many you could
do on an annual basis, especially if you are like me doing most of it
myself.I’m thinking something like the pictures
below, smallish but not tiny that can be made into an amazing compact living
pad! The sites I sue the most for inspiration are Hemnet, Alvhem and ESNY.
One thing that I always do when having a
project on the go is, starting painting, plastering or sanding thinking I’ll only do this tiny little amount and
then change in to proper gear and continue. Resulting in my cloths, usually
more or less expensive gym tights ending up becoming stained with white blobs.
Obviously never able to clean the gear and therefore ending up with tons of
clothes not suitable for anything but continue doing house work in… This time I
have promised myself that I will “invest” in some proper clothes to do the work
in, making me look like a total professional, like these , totally professional and good looking gear!
Are you dreaming about summer vacations, light and drinking rose in the sun! Below is a sneak-peak of the summer collection from Lexington. Classic blue and white mixed with a bit of orange for a pop of color. Summer living at it's best!
Most people probably consider November the worst month of the year, dark, cold and just blah! The time of year when we dream of summer and endless summertime! Lexington has manage to capture the feeling of long lazy summer break perfectly and even though I love winter I wouldn't mind hanging in that hammock for a day or two!
Stockholm Vitt is a blog about interior design with a Scandinavian/ New England theme.
Stockholm Vitt is a shade of white, a shade very common in Stockholm apartments. I have chosen this name as I think it perfectly captures the modern simple Scandinavian design that I love in two words.
For me Stockholm Vitt is white walls, stripped white washed floor boards, modern Scandinavian Design, simplicity and elegance, Stockholm's archipelago, sailing as well as fantastic summer houses in the Hamptons.
